VVA CHAPTER 436

News

Bud McCullough Has Passed Away

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of longtime member, director and officer, Bud McCullough.

Bud was a fixture at all of our meetings and events but will be specifically remembered as the “Ambulance” driver for all of the VVA436 parade events.  The picture above is just one of many that Bud drove his black pickup truck in behind the color guard–just in case we could not make it on longer marches.

Funeral arrangements are not available at this time and will probably be impacted by the COVD19 pandemic.

First met Bud around 15 years ago on a Bus Trip to D.C.. Stood with him at High & Market in support of our Troops. He was the second person, joining Rich Davis to do so. He loved his cadaver dogs (Especially Maggie) and supporting the chapter Honor Guard on marches, getting speakers for our meetings and being on the 436 Board of Directors. He was a Good Man, Friend and American. He will definitely be missed.
